Who we are
A Guiding Force in Your Wildlife Experience

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Jurgens and Kirstie, both born and raised in Namibia, our story is deeply woven into the country’s wild and untamed landscapes. After a lifetime of adventures across Namibia – and more than 28 years of travel experience around the world – sharing our love for this land through guiding comes as a natural next step.
What began with just a few guests grew into a boutique safari company built on trust, returning travellers, and word of mouth. With us, you never hand over to a stranger – you explore Namibia alongside people who know every track, every horizon, and every story this land holds.
“This isn’t just a business. It’s my life’s passion – to help every traveller fall in love with Namibia and leave with unforgettable memories.”
— Jurgens Strydom, Founder & Lead Guide

ABOUT NAMIBIA
A Land of Vast Beauty & Timeless Wonder
Namibia, officially the Republic of Namibia, is a land of dramatic contrasts – from the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei to the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha.
Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and neighbouring Angola, Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa, Namibia stands as one of the most sparsely populated countries on Earth, offering an unparalleled sense of space and solitude.
The name Namibia comes from the ancient Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world. The word Namib means “vast place” in the Nama language, and it’s a fitting description.
Namibia’s cultural and historical richness reflects the heritage of the San, Damara, Nama, and Bantu peoples, as well as a complex colonial legacy. Since gaining independence in 1990, Namibia stands as a beacon for travellers who seek authentic African experiences in a stable and spectacular setting.
What Our Guests say
As a solo female traveler very far from home, it was wonderful to be with a knowledgeable guide that I trusted. Being able to travel with someone who really knows Namibia and loves to share his country with visitors really made all the difference in my trip. There is so much to see in Namibia, and vast distances to travel–being with Jurgens allowed me to see so much more of the country than I every could have seen on my own. Twice I have been to Namibia with Jurgens as my guide, and I plan on returning again, with him showing me even more of the country!
We had an absolutely amazing trip with Jurgens. He has a lot of knowledge about Namibia and knows all the places well. We travelled with him on a 12 day safari. He was very patient and kind. Happy to give ideas and help with suggestions. He took us to every place we wanted to go to and made sure we were comfortable. If I was to do a Namibia Safari again I will only go with Jurgens.
We did an approximately 10 day trip across Namibia with Jurgens of Safari Guide Namibia and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. I personally managed to capture some dream photographs which were all thanks to Jurgens expertise and immense knowledge of Namibia. He made sure we were always in the right place at the right time and showed us some magical places that we would have never come across if we were self driving. Truly an adventure of a lifetime and a huge thanks to Jurgens, it wouldn’t have been possible without him!
